Your safety is very important to us, so after restrictions are lifted on 19th July, we will still be putting into practice the same cleaning and sanitising protocol as before....
To ease concerns about future cancellations if the virus reoccurs - we are always happy to reschedule bookings. Balance payments are not taken until the date of arrival. Eat in and be safe - most pubs and restaurants are now offering either deliveries or takeaways so there is still no need to cook. Otherwise each apartment or cottage is fully equipped to cook and eat in.
Contactless Check-in
Our guests have always loved our Contactless Check-in, which allows you to go straight to your accommodation without entering a crowded reception area. Never has this been more important! You’ll be given directions to your cottage before you arrive, and you’ll find that the key has been disinfected and left in the key safe at the door of your accommodation. We’d still like to check that you are happy with everything in your accommodation, so we will text you on the number that you have given us the morning after you arrive.
Cleaning your accommodation
Between lets we will take the opportunity to deep clean and sanitise each unit. This includes laudering and sanitising all soft furnishings, plus fixed upholstery will be sanitised and misted with disinfectant (we are Zoflora fans). We are allowing even more time between bookings to make sure that everything is sparkling clean when you arrive, so we politely ask that guests vacate their apartment or cottage by 10am on check out day, and check in after 4pm on day of arrival.
Your Safety at Beaconsfield Farm
There are no shared facilities at Beaconsfield Farm, and because of our contactless check-in, social distancing is easy. Each apartment or cottage has its own parking space and plenty of open space all around, whilst the decking areas and patios are spacious and private. There are little used public footpaths from the doorstep of Beaconsfield Farm giving you the freedom to roam and enjoy the beautiful Somerset countryside.
Minimum 3 night Stay
Due to Covid-19 we are offering a minimum 3 night stay to allow extra time for cleaning and sanitising. If, however, a two night stay becomes available, it will be displayed on the "last minute" page
